Teacher appreciation week is usually celebrated during the first full week in May.
This is the perfect time to acknowledge the great teachers in your child’s life and let them know how much you appreciate all of their hard work.
Many schools encourage the kids to bring in small gifts for their teachers. This could be a handwritten note or card, homemade cookies, classroom supplies or your teacher’s favorite treat.

GIFT CARDS
A gift card may not seem the most original teacher appreciation gift idea but it is certainly one of the most popular options.
Many of my teacher friends just love receiving a gift card, especially a Coffee Card. Look around at the cafes near the school and see if they have gift cards. If not, a Starbucks gift card is always a good option.
Instead of just giving the gift card, you can make it a bit different by attaching it to a gift card holder. We have a range of gift card holders in our store. Gift Cards can be a perfect option if you are looking for teacher appreciations gift ideas for male teachers.
Popular gift card options are from Amazon, Target and Starbucks or any Coffee Gift Card.
Our Gift Card Holders are sized 5” x 7” so will fit into an A7 envelope. They are also designed to print 2 gift cards per 8.5" x 11" page.
COOKIES
I am sure most kids love to bake so homemade cookies will be a popular option. You can make a double batch of your favorite cookie recipe, package them up, add a gift tag and give to all your favorite teachers.
If you do not have time to whip up a batch of cookies, there are some delicious store bought cookies you can use instead. Or how about a box of your teacher's favorite candy or even donuts!
NON FOOD GIFT IDEAS
If you are looking for a gift this year that does not involve food, a plant would be perfect. We have these adorable 'Thank you for helping me grow' options which are just right for a plant gift.
If you have a Cricut machine, this 'Thank you for helping me grow' cut file will look great cut out of vinyl and stuck onto a potplant.
Or you can attach these 'Thank you for helping me grow' gift tags to a packet of seeds as a thoughtful gift.
STATIONERY
Another great option is to gift your teacher a special pen or pencil. Teachers can never have enough stationery! Attach a gift card and this is a lovely thoughtful gift.
FLOWERS
You can not go wrong with flowers. I am sure most teachers would appreciate a lovely small bouquet of flowers to display on their desk.
I hope this has given you some ideas for Teachers Appreciation Week. Our Teachers really deserve to be spoilt after a long year in the classroom so I am sure they will appreciate any gift you choose.
