This game is sure to produce some laughs. Simply take a pool noodle and see how far you can throw it like a javelin. The person with the furthest throw at the end of 1 minute wins.

Water Balloon Toss

All you need for this one are water balloons, pool noodles and 2 people. Fill up the water balloons and have each person sit on their pool noodle. Players must toss the water balloon back and forth to each other whilst balancing on their pool noodle. The person left holding the unpopped balloon after 60 seconds is the winner. If the water balloon pops, both players are out.

Noodle Jousting 

Another great game for 2 or more players! All you need are some pool noodles and a sense of competition. Players face off against each other and try to knock their opponent off of their noodle using only their noodle. First player to fall in the water loses! Each round goes for just 60 seconds.

Pool Noodle races

This one is great for kids (and adults)! Simply sit on the pool noodle and race your opponent to the other side of the pool and back. You are not allowed to touch the ground or fall off. If you made it there and back in 60 seconds you win a point.

Cannonball Contest

See who can make the biggest splash by doing a cannonball into the pool. You can even award points for style if you want to add an extra element of competition.

Shark Attack 

This one is perfect for kids (and adults who are kids at heart!). One player is the shark, while the rest are swimmers. The object of the game is for the swimmers to make it from one end of the pool to the other without being caught by the shark. The shark can catch swimmers by tagging them or splashing water on them. If you can make it safely to the other side in under one minute you earn an point.

Collect Treasure

Split your guests into 2-3 teams depending on how many people are playing. Then allocate a color or number to each team. Write the corresponding team number onto 10 ping pong balls per team. Or for younger players you can use colored ping pong balls for team team. Throw the ping pong balls into the pool. When the time starts one person from each team must jump into the pool and try to retrieve their teams ping pong balls. They can only carry one ball at a time and must place each ball into their team's bucket. After 60 seconds they must get out of the pool and tag the next player who will jump in and continue the search.

Push It

Players line up at one end of the pool with a small beach ball in front of them. The idea is to push the ball to the other end of the pool using only your nose! Players are not allowed to use their hands or any other part of their body to move the ball. If you can make it there in 60 seconds you or your team will win a point.

Shark Bait

This game is similar to Sharks and Minnows, but with a twist! Instead of being safe on the sidelines, players must swim around in a circle holding onto an inner tube or raft. One player is "it" in the middle of the circle, trying to tag as many others as possible. Once tagged, those players join "it" in the middle until only 1 player remains.

Cup stack

Each player will need a pool float and 6 plastic cups. They must try to stack their plastic cups into a pyramid shape on top of their pool float. Then push the pool float to the other end without their pyramid falling over. If it does topple, the player must stop and rebuild the pyramid before continuing on the race.

Drip Drop

Give each player an ice cube and have them balance it on top of their head while swimming from one end of the pool to the other. If they can do it in sixty seconds they will win.

Treasure Hunt
