Sprinkler Jump

The object of this game is to try to jump over the sprinkler without getting wet. To play, all you need is a sprinkler. Turn on the sprinkler and start jumping! If you get wet, you are out of the game. The last person dry wins!

Simon Says

Simon Says is a classic game that can be played with just about anything. To play Simon Says with a sprinkler, you will need one person to be Simon who will give directions to the other player and have them follow the instructions. It could be things like jump through the sprinkler, sit down or hop on one foot. If the player does not follow the instructions, they are out of the game. The last person standing wins!

Freeze Dance

This game is perfect for hot summer days! Let the kids dance around the sprinkler then turn on the sprinkler and they must freeze. Whoever can stay in the water the longest without moving wins!

Sprinkler Obstacle Course

Sprinkler Obstacle Course. To play you will need: hula hoops, plastic cones or buckets, water balloons, and of course a sprinkler! First, set up your sprinkler in the middle of the yard. Then, use the hula hoops to create an obstacle course around the sprinkler. Try to complete the obstacle course in the fastest time.

Red Light Green Light

This is a great game for younger children. One player is chosen to be “it” and stands at one end of the playing area. The other players line up at the other end of the playing area. “It” then calls out “Green light!” and all of the players start walking forwards. When “Red light!”is called out, all of the players must stop. If anyone is caught moving, they are out of the game. The first person to reach “it” is the winner. There will be lots of laughs with this game as some people will have to stop moving right in the middle of the sprinkler!

Wheelbarrow Race

Put a new spin on this game by setting the sprinkler up in the middle. Split into pairs with one person being the 'wheelbarrow' and the other person holding their legs. When the race starts, they must run from one side to the other, going through the sprinkler. 

Tug of War

This game is made even more fun by setting up the sprinkler in the middle of the rope. Each team must do their best not to be pulled into the sprinkler.

Hot Potato

Try playing this classic game with water balloons while standing in a circle under the sprinkler. The water balloons will get very wet and slippery to make sure you have plenty of balloons on hand.

Trampoline Sprinkler Games

Add a bit of summer fun to your trampoline games by adding a trampoline sprinkler. If you have a sprinkler that is low to the ground you can sit it under your trampoline and have the water spray through the net. Or there are now special trampoline sprinklers that attach to your trampoline.
